Elastic sewn in backs of the shoes to keep them on squirmy feet without being restrictive. For bottom of shoes-leather with rough side out helps keep them non-slip.

SIZING INFO: Measure baby/child foot on flat hard surface. Order 1/2” inch bigger for wiggle and room to grow. Sizes measurements from outside of shoes.
